HIGH SCHOOL BATCH REPRESENTATIVES

RUBY DIZON ABASOLO (HS 1980)

Ruby is currently a Board of Trustees member and holds the position of Auditor and Head of the Membership Committee. She lived in Tokyo, Japan for 8 years and 2 years in Jakarta, Indonesia as a very supportive wife and mother to a daughter. Ruby’s last working stint was as Senior Manager and Head of 18 business centers of Globe.


ATTY. PILAR ALMIRA (HS 1970, BS Accounting 1974)

Atty. Pilar graduated from the UP College of Law. She was on the board of Manila Doctor’s Hospital. She headed both the Cardinal Santos Medical Center and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was also the president and CEO of the Makati Medical Center. Atty. Pilar is currently the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Legal Officer of the Calamba Medical Center.


MA. FE GUTAY (HS 1977)

More known as “Popi”, she is currently a Board of Trustees (BOT) member as VP of Internal Affairs and Homecoming Committee Chair. Popi took up AB Communication Arts in SPCM. She was an Executive Vice President for Basic Advertising and was part of the advertising industry for over 30 years. Popi is a single mother and is soon to welcome her second grandchild.


MA. TERESITA MANIMTIM (HS 1986)

Tess is currently a Board of Trustee member, and Ways and Means Committee Head. Tess is also our chief creative talent – from singing to designing all of our collateral materials. She is a strong single mother of 2. Her daughter recently passed the medical board, and her son just launched their EP on Spotify. She is from the last batch of SPCM High School (HS ’86) and is a BS Management 1990 graduate of the ADMU.


MA. TERESA PERLAS SAN JUAN (HS 1972, BS Commerce 1976)

Teresa is a businesswoman engaged in the fuel and hotel industry. She has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Despite her busy schedule, she still would like to give back to her alma mater and serve as part of the BOT.

AIDA S. SIMBORIO (HS 1963, AB Social Science 1967)

Desiring to be in government service, Aida joined the Bureau of Internal Revenue and served for 40 years. She obtained a Masters in Government Management (MGM) from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM). In almost 4 decades in the BIR, Aida started as an information officer, was designated as head revenue executive assistant, and officer-in-charge-assistant commissioner of departments, such as tax assistance and policy and planning. Her Tax Assistance Service brought to the Bureau was the “Premyo sa Resibo” project, which cultivated awareness of the importance of official receipts for each purchase. The project earned a much-coveted Anvil Award.

HEIDY DIMAPILIS CACHUELA (BS Accounting 1980)

Heidy is a CPA, married, with 4 sons and a grandson. She worked in a bank for 38 years and is retired. She was with the Missionary Families of Christ for 31 years and is presently with the Manila Cathedral Pastoral Council, serving in the Lector/Commentator Ministry, and MCB representative to the RCAM-Commission on Lay Formation of the Archdiocese of Manila.


Dr. JOCELLE DAUIGOY (BS Psychology 1993)

After college, Dr. Jocelle studied medicine at Our Lady of Fatima Medical School in Valenzuela. Her field of specialty is dermatology.


GRACE LEONGSON (BS HRM 2011)

Grace has a PHD in Business Management from Philippine Women’s University. She is currently working at St. Paul University of Manila (SPUM) as the Dean of the College of Business. She also held the position of Vice-President of Academic Affairs.


MELVIN MACUJA (BS Psychology 2011)

Melvin is a Registered Psychologist, holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from De La Salle University-Manila, and is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Ateneo de Manila University. He is an educator and leader, who demonstrates his unwavering dedication to fostering the growth, success, and holistic development of students and alumni. Melvin is currently working at SPUM and is now the Program Chair of the Department of Psychology.


JENNIFER JOY OLIVAR (BSN 1990)

Jenny completed her grade school and high school education at St. Paul College of Paranaque. As a registered nurse, she worked in the Nursing Services Division of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, and later became Nurse Trainer 3 in the Training Department of Human Resources. In 1998, she became the Pioneer Patient Care Staff Educator heading the nursing Training Department, opening Asian Hospital and Medical Center, and later serving as a consultant in the same department. In 2004, she joined the SPU Manila College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences as a Clinical Instructor. Currently, Dean of the College. She also completed her Master’s and PhD in Nursing Education in SPUM.


EMILIE SIMON (HS 1970, Bachelor of Music 1974)

Emilie studied Marimba and Piano since grade school and is a member of the Glee Club. She used to teach at SPUM, and Is a member of Quota International of Manila South then became the President, Quota International Board 2018-2020.


From the candidates above, you will choose a maximum of 6 High School Batch Reps and a maximum of 4 College Reps when voting for the new SPMAFI of Trustees is announced.
