A graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Law, she has led some of the country's most prestigious medical institutions, including Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and the Makati Medical Center, where she served as President and CEO. Her leadership was further put to the test during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she was appointed head of the Crisis Team of the Metro Pacific Hospitals Group — the largest network of private hospitals in the Philippines. Today, Atty. Almira serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Legal Officer of the Calamba Medical Center in Laguna, where she continues to drive the expansion of specialized healthcare services in the region. Under her stewardship, the hospital has grown in both capacity and reputation, with a bold vision of becoming the Healthcare City of the South. Her career is a powerful testament to her belief that world-class medical care should be accessible to communities beyond Metro Manila.

Her passion for nursing education led her to a landmark milestone in 1998 — being chosen as the Pioneer Patient Care Staff Educator to head the Nursing Training Department for the opening of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center, where she later served as a consultant. In 2004, Jenny returned to her Paulinian roots, joining St. Paul University Manila as a Clinical Instructor at the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. Those cherished years laid the foundation for the person she is today. Through her work on the board, she has found renewed purpose, forging meaningful connections with fellow alumni across different batches, rekindling ties with the SPC Sisters, and partnering with dedicated school staff. While the role is pro-bono, the experience has proven deeply enriching, sharpening her leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and communication skills in ways that continue to inspire her.

She further strengthened her expertise by earning a Master's in Government Management from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM). Among her most enduring contributions was championing the Premyo sa Resibo program under the Tax Assistance Service — a nationwide initiative that encouraged consumers to demand official receipts, thereby promoting tax compliance and plugging revenue leakages. The program's excellence in public communications earned a coveted Anvil Award, presented by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines. Aida's legacy is one of principled service, innovation in tax administration, and an unwavering dedication to the public good.

When her third child arrived, she chose family over career — a decision that eventually gave way to a thriving entrepreneurial journey. Today, she manages a diverse portfolio of businesses including a gasoline station, a hotel, an apartelle, a transient house, a PAGCOR-licensed electronic gaming site, and commercial space leasing.
